FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What cleaning agents do you use to wash the windows?

We use a combination of dish soap and water. It does not leave stains, it is not abrasive, and it is environmentally safe.

How often should windows be cleaned?

We put together a schedule around the house. Tell us how the property is used and we will recommend a rhythm.

What is the duration of the cleaning process?

It usually takes around one or two hours with one or two people. It depends on the number of windows, storms, and screens.

Can I trust the people who will work at my home?

Crew members are insured and bonded. We send people who are responsible for doing the work carefully.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. Both the company and the staff are fully insured, including workers’ compensation.

How do I calculate the window count?

Use the counting guide on the window cleaning price list. A double-hung window counts as two, a casement as one, a sliding door as two, and a picture, bay, or bow as three. French windows are counted separately.

Is my presence required while the cleaning is happening?

We ask first-time customers to be home. We want you to see the work and to be available if a question comes up.

What is your gutter cleaning process?

Everything in the gutter is removed by hand. We do not use vacuums or power washers. Debris is packed in disposable bags and carried out without messing the yard.

Do you fix downspouts?

Downspout cleaning is included in the gutter price. Flushing a clogged downspout is $5 each.

Do you clean the outside of gutters for residue or mold?

Yes, for an additional fee. Mention it when you request a quote so it is on the estimate.

Do you carry out bags of leaves and debris?

Most customers ask us to leave the bags with yard waste. If you need them hauled away, it is $5 a bag. We guarantee no mess.

What is your privacy policy?

We do not share, sell, give, or trade your personal information. The full policy is on the privacy page.
